I’ve found that the full HD video-recording is brought abruptly to an end when attempts are made to zoom. Anyone else having the same issue or is it the cheap SD card from Play.com that isn’t up to the job? I never experienced that using the sandisk card. Apart from that, since the video has no autofocus capability, zooming won’t give you a good video result.

When im taking a picture the exposimeter does not move, always mark “0″, how can i activate the exposimeter of the camera to know if my light its fine????
I already search in the manual but it tells me only how i can made this manually but the idea is that when you press the shooter at half the exposimeer automatically tell the exposure of the photo

i encountered dis yesterday.. i shot 3 5mnts video using the lowest settings for HD (620). on the third video after 5 mnts a thermometer icon started.. i think the camera’s sensor is hot after that.. any suggestions for this.. im in an airconditioned room that time.. taking videos of my band..

I wish everyone a Happy New Year! I bought my T2i with the 18-55mm kit lens, a couple of days before Christmas-2010. I’m simply AMAZED at this camera! What also impresses me is there is sooo much support online and websites with communities dedicated to this camera and it’s capabilities. I truly feel I stepped into something good. I’ve been experimenting like crazy. Just did my first time-lapse video (thanks to this website!) as a test for when I will make some with my kids, light trails, keeping it mainly in Manual Mode so I can learn to capture the feel of the subjects/the moment. Imagine how time-consuming and expensive photography used to be when you had to pay to develop your own film! That was what kept me out of it in the past. Now, with a 4gb sd card, I am only limited by weather! Anyways, thanks for the tips on the time-lapse video, which worked perfectly, and know you’ve just inherited another fan who bookmarked your site. I wish everyone well.

The quality of video that this camera produced is amazing, but you need to keep in mind that there is no auto focus in this camera and for a serious production you need some gear to stabilize your camera (it’s hard to hold the camera while looking at the screen without shaking)
